PIECES OF BELMAR is a short film about a young girl on Christmas Eve who goes on a journey through her Hurricane Sandy-torn town along the beloved Jersey Shore, and re-discovers what it really means to come home.  It is based on the true stories and accounts of the residents of shore communities all across New Jersey.  Hurricane Sandy destroyed over 45,000 homes in October 2012.  As of April 2015, less than 1% of those homes have been restored by RREM; New Jersey's primary Residential Recovery program.
